CS2 hosting.

A scrim is only fair if the delay is close to even on both sides, which is why these servers sit in Dallas, a central US location within reasonable reach of either coast. Your configs and your plugin list are yours to upload and exec.

Every game server we run lives in Dallas, roughly central to North America, which keeps the delay between a click and what happens in game about even for players on either coast.

What is CS2 server hosting?

Counter-Strike 2 is the biggest competitive shooter in the world, and serious teams run their own server instead of queueing on someone else's. That gets you your own configs, your own maps and your own plugins, for scrims, retakes, executes, surf or a community game night.

A server of your own stays steady with a full lobby and utility in the air, so shots land where you aimed them. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors and a central US location in Dallas keep the delay low and, just as important for a scrim, close to even for everyone in the server.

SourceMod does not run on CS2 at all, whatever a host tells you. The stack here is MetaMod and CounterStrikeSharp, which is what current CS2 plugins are written against, and both install from the panel. Maps, configs and plugins are yours over SFTP, and backups run on a schedule.

Why choose our CS2 hosting?

The panel installs MetaMod and CounterStrikeSharp for you and your own configs go on over SFTP, so a practice or retake server is a config away rather than an afternoon of setup.

Plugins install from the panel and the file manager is open, so your time goes on anti-stratting instead of server admin.

You keep full control of the team's environment, on hardware and routes built for competitive play, with support that answers mid-scrim.

Protection from attacks

Rival servers sometimes get flooded with junk traffic to knock them offline. Cloudflare Magic Transit and CosmicGuard filter that out before it reaches you, and hardware filtering catches the sneakier attacks that pretend to be real players.

Real people, day and night

Tickets and Discord are answered around the clock by people who run game servers themselves. No scripts to read from, no waiting for office hours.

Backups you can roll back to

Your CS2 server saves a copy of itself on a schedule, so a griefed world or a bad update is a restore rather than a disaster. Putting one back takes a couple of clicks in the panel, and you can download the files yourself any time with an SFTP app.

Questions

CS2 hosting, answered.

Plans are sized by memory, and you set the player limit yourself, up to 64. A 5v5 scrim or a practice server runs comfortably on 4 GB. 6 GB, our default, suits community deathmatch, retakes and events, and the larger sizes are for big plugin stacks or a full 64-player server. Pick a bigger size only if you need it - spare memory does not make the server faster.
MetaMod and CounterStrikeSharp. SourceMod does not support CS2, so anything written for it will not load, and the current generation of CS2 plugins is built against CounterStrikeSharp instead. Both install from the panel, and your own plugins and configs go on through the file manager or SFTP.
Yes, by setting the map you want in your server configuration. There is no collection that syncs itself, so the rotation is yours to manage, and CS2 has no FastDL mechanism of the kind Source 1 games had. Anything you are not pulling from the Workshop you upload to the server yourself.
No. GOTV needs its own port and its own configuration, and these servers do not ship with it turned on, so treat it as something you set up rather than something included. If GOTV is how your team reviews rounds, ask us on Discord before you order and we will tell you honestly where it stands.
CS2 leans hard on one processor core at a time, which is why game servers run on the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, a chip that is quick at exactly that. A full lobby with utility flying sits well within what one of those cores can do. How close you are to the server matters just as much, and Dallas is a central US location, so it is a reasonable distance for players on either coast.
Yes, on every plan at no extra cost. Game servers in Dallas sit behind Cloudflare Magic Transit and CosmicGuard, so floods of junk traffic are thrown away before they reach the machine, and so are the subtler attacks that imitate real players. It is always on - there is nothing to switch on and no add-on to buy.
